Rebirthing breathwork
Rebefing (English rebirthing) means rebirth, because during it we are born to a new life.
"It doesn't matter what you eat or how much you exercise, it doesn't matter how thin or fat you are, young or old, it doesn't matter if you're not breathing properly" (James Nestor "BREATHING. The New Science of a Forgotten Art")
Conscious breathing helps:
- return to the body;
- relax and calm down;
-do not run away from intense feelings and emotions, but accept them;
- open creative channels;
- to be healthy;
- through the messages sent by the body and soul, understand the causes of existing problems and consciously change;
-to live a simpler, more joyful life.
It is a very simple but very powerful natural breathing technique used by millions of people around the world.
In early childhood, children naturally breathe correctly, unfortunately, as we grow, we accumulate tension and little by little our breathing becomes superficial, we unconsciously hold it when we tense up. So, if we want to feel more relaxation than tension, to live more consciously and more easily, we have to learn to breathe again.
Leonard Orr, the father of rebending, who brought the technique of conscious breathing to the West, described the process that takes place when you begin to breathe consciously in his book "Get Out of the Dead Habit":
"Suppose you have a glass of water with a layer of mud at the bottom (old stagnant energy) and you begin to pour fresh water (new energy) into it in a continuous stream; first, the mud that is stirred up stirs up and turbids the water. As you continue to add fresh water, the dirt gradually washes away and you are left with a glass of fresh water."
Stagnant energy limits our expression and individuality, creating tension and painful bodily sensations that eventually lead to disease and ultimately death.
In Rebefing, the breath is released little by little. Proper breathing clears mental debris, physical tension, and emotional problems.
During a conscious breathing session, you lie on the ground with a blanket. A breathing session (without introduction and discussion) takes about 40-60 minutes.
I got acquainted with the conscious breathing technique 18 years ago. I remember my first 10 individual sessions. They were so strong, purifying, liberating energy that after them my life began to change rapidly - more awareness and light appeared in it. Thus, as needed, I practiced conscious breathing with different teachers. After having the kids and taking a 5 year break, I realized I stopped breathing! With the joys of motherhood came great fatigue and tension in the body. Therefore, a year ago I felt that I wanted to bring conscious breathing back into everyday life and at the same time motivate others to do the same. After completing the training of rebefers, I started conducting sessions in which I rediscover the miracle of breathing with each person.
